Premier League Team of the Week: Demba Ba & Yohan Cabaye included as goalscoring goalkeeper Tim Howard makes the cut

The Newcastle United duo join team-mates Danny Simpson and Cheick Tiote in our squad after helping Alan Pardew's side record a shock 3-0 victory over Manchester United

After an excellent 3-0 win over Manchester United at the Sports Direct Arena, Newcastle United boast no fewer than four representatives in our XI this week.

Demba Ba and Yohan Cabaye are both included after scoring in the victory over Sir Alex Ferguson's side, while impressive performances from Cheick Tiote and former Red Devils defender Danny Simpson see them make the grade.

Tim Howard's extraordinary goal in Everton's defeat to Bolton Wanderers earns the keeper our No.1 spot this week, with Manchester City's Vincent Kompany and Fulham's Brede Hangeland at centre-back following dominant performances in defence against Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.

Two of Hangeland's defensive team-mates, Philippe Senderos and John Arne Riise, narrowly miss the cut, but Chelsea's Ashley Cole, who set up Frank Lampard's crucial winner against Wolves, is at left-back to complete the back four.

Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer makes his first ever TOTW appearance after giving Aston Villa left-back Stephen Warnock a torrid time in his side's win at Villa Park, while Stephane Sessegnon, the scorer of Sunderland's third goal against Wigan Athletic, is shifted slightly out of position to take his place on the left wing.

As well as the aforementioned Senderos and Riise, Yaya Toure, James McClean, Wayne Routledge, Ramires, Juan Mata and Sergio Aguero also came close to making our XI, but the final place this week goes to Peter Crouch, who scored both goals for Stoke City in their 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers.
