Hugo LLORIS
Lyon
TOTW Apps: 3
In what was a fine goalkeeping weekend all round in Ligue 1, Hugo Lloris of Lyon surpasses a number of shot-stoppers in claiming his third Team of the Week appearance. Lloris was ultimately the difference between Lyon and Sochaux, as the new France captain kept les Gones within sight of third place after a 2-1 victory. He narrowly edges out last week's incumbent Stephane Ruffier of Saint Etienne. |

Renato CIVELLI Nice TOTW Apps: 2 |
Gregory BOURILLON Lorient TOTW Apps: 1 |

| Mathieu Debuchy of Lille makes his sixth appearance after contributing to Lille's 3-0 victory over Evian. The right-back, one of the most impressive in the division this campaign, took his defensive duties well, whilst offering a wide option out on the flank as Lille romped to a convincing win. Renato Civelli makes it onto the list for only the second time after proving to be the scourge of former club Marseille as lowly Nice held L'OM to a 1-1 draw. Civelli helped Rene Marsiglia's men to a well-earned point with a number of key interceptions as they boosted their survival hopes. Gregory Bourillion makes his debut in the Best XI after scoring in Lorient's 1-1 draw with Ajaccio. The defender was arguably one of the best players on the pitch and enjoyed a rare impressive game at Stade Francois Coty as les Merlus were ultimately frustrated. |

Benjamin CORGNET Dijon TOTW Apps: 2 |
Benoit TREMOULINAS Lorient TOTW Apps: 3 |

| Bernard Kumordzi makes his bow in the TOTW a little over two months since his move to Dijon in the winter transfer window. The Ghanaian has enjoyed a steady rise in Ligue 1, and the reward is a first appearance in his list after guiding Patrice Carteron's men to a 2-0 win over Caen. Kumordzi's team-mate Benjamin Corgnet also makes the grade for a second time. Corgnet, who has been linked with a move to Premier League side Newcastle, provided the hosts' creative spark, regularly opening up a hapless les Malherbes as Dijon continued on from their surprise 2-1 win over Marseille last weekend. Benoit Pedretti, meanwhile, enjoyed an impressive game for champions Lille. The ex-Auxerre midfielder played a crucial role in securing possession with a number of interceptions, and providing the link between defence and attack. Benoit Tremoulinas makes it three TOTW appearances in the last five weeks after helping Bordeaux to a 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday. Tremoulinas was a potent force on the left wing and his crosses proved too troublesome to handle for the likes of Christophe Jallet. |

Eden HAZARD Lille TOTW Apps: 5 |

| Eden Hazard continued from last week's stellar showing against Valenciennes with an equally impressive game against Evian this week. Hazard scored one and made one, joining a select few of Europe's elite in scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists this season, as a summer move beckons for the highly talented youngster. |

Olivier Giroud stole the show once more, netting in the 89th minute to hand Montpellier a narrow 1-0 victory over Saint Etienne. Giroud was influential throughout, yet could not find the breakthrough until late on, scoring his 18th goal of the season to send la Paillade to the top of Ligue 1. Gael Danic rounds off the team for Week 29 as he led Valenciennes to a 1-0 win over Stade Rennes on Saturday. Danic, who makes his third appearance in the TOTW, scored the game's only goal early on as Daniel Sanchez's men recorded an important win. |
