Euro 2012 has been the prime occasion for players to showcase their talents ahead of the summer transfer window and some have grasped their opportunity better than others.

Goal.com brings you both the best and the worst individual displays throughout the group stage of the tournament as we track those who could be moving to the Premier League this summer.

GOOD GROUP STAGE...

Mathieu Debuchy enjoyed a strong opening on the right flank for France and, subsequently, the 26-year-old has attracted interest from Newcastle United, who had a €5 million (£4m) bid turned down by Lille on Tuesday.

The defender has shown impressive stamina during all three of France's Group D games and, when venturing forward from right-back, has displayed a consistency in his delivery.

Chelsea are also reportedly in the race with Newcastle United to sign Debuchy, who has made over 200 appearances for Lille.

Everton are reportedly in the hunt for Croatia's Mario Mandzukic after the forward netted twice in the Vatreni's opening victory over Ireland and followed his double with another goal against Italy.

The 26-year-old, who is valued at €8.6m (£7m), would link up with countryman Nikica Jelavic should he join the Toffees this summer.

Alan Dzagoev had a barnstorming start to Euro 2012, having struck twice in Russia's opening game against Czech Republic.

The 22-year-old then added to his tournament tally in his side's 1-1 draw against Poland with a glancing header and looked a constant spark for Russia in attack.

The CSKA Moscow midfielder has already expressed his desire to ply his trade in another European league, woth Arsenal reportedly leading the race for his signature.

Slotting in comfortably at left-back during Spain's group campaign, Jordi Alba already looks an established player at international level, despite this being his first major tournament appearance.

The Valencia defender is being pursued by Manchester United and Barcelona, according to reports, following an impressive season in La Liga.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed three solid outings against Italy, Ireland and Croatia and has added an extra edge to Spain's attack with his overlapping runs up and down the left flank.

BAD GROUP STAGE...

Olivier Giroud is on the verge of joining Arsenal but the Montpellier striker is finding it difficult to displace Karim Benzema as France's lone striker.

The 25-year-old has played just 21 minutes of France's Euro 2012 campaign so far; coming on as a substitute against Ukraine and Sweden.

With les Bleus side having qualified for the quarter-finals without a goal from Giroud, the forward may find it even more tricky to oust Benzema out of his starting role.

Yann M'Vila is also in the frame for a move to the Gunners this summer, but the Rennes midfielder, who suffered an ankle injury in the build-up to the Euros, has yet to fully establish himself in Laurent Blanc's midfield.

Against Sweden, M'Vila's only start so far during the tournament, the midfielder struggled to influence France's play and Blanc is likely to recall Yohan Cabaye for his side's quarter-final tie against Spain.

Reports this week have suggested Athletic Bilbao have slapped a €37m (£30m) price tag on Fernando Llorente to ward off interested Premier League parties, namely Manchester City, but the striker has been unable to make an impact in Poland and Ukraine.

After failing to make an appearance during the group stage for Spain, and both Fernando Torres and Cesc Fabregas preferred to spearhead Spain's attack, Llorente, who notched 29 goals last season, may struggle to secure any playing time as the tournament progresses.

Javi Martinez has also been unable to make an impact at Euro 2012 and has featured in just 25 minutes of La Roja's Group C campaign after coming on as a substitute against Ireland.
