World Cup 2010: China Friendly In Preparation For North Korea - Portugal Captain Cristiano Ronaldo
Portuguese looking for similarities between Chinese and Koreans...
By Paul Madden
Portugal team captain Cristiano Ronaldo has declared that Wednesday's friendly international against China is "just another game" but noted that it will be good preparation for the World Cup.
Ronaldo stated that the objective of the friendly against the Chinese was to gain an undertsanding of the type of game played by World Cup Group G opponents North Korea, who the Portuguese will play in their second outing at this summer's finals in South Africa on June 21 in Cape Town.
"The goal is to study this team which plays like North Korea, one of Portugal's opponents in the first round of the World Cup," he is quoted as saying by AS.
"It's just another game but hopefully it is a good game and one we win."
Portugal are pitted in one of the World Cup's toughest groups with Ivory Coast and Brazil also competing in Group G.
