Pop singer Shakira has tipped European champions Spain to come out on top against Netherlands in tonight’s 2010 World Cup final at the Soccer City stadium.

“I think the Spanish team is quite amazing. And I support them big time,” the Colombian singer said to FIFA.com.

“It's my moral duty, I'm Hispanic and I have to support the Spanish team.

“I wouldn't dare to predict the score but I think you have to believe the octopus. So whatever Paul says, I'll go with him,” she added.

Shakira will be performing at the stadium tonight ahead of the final.
