Euro 2012: Coach Marcello Lippi Warns Italy To Be Attentive Of Serbia And Slovenia
The Azzurri tactician is not underestimating the task at hand following this afternoon’s qualifying draw…
By Stefano Federici
“It is a balanced group. We find ourselves alongside Serbia and Slovenia, both of whom will be participating at next summer’s World Cup,” declared Lippi to Datasport.
With Italy also been drawn with Northern Ireland, Estonia and the Faroe Islands, the coach also commented on the benefit of being in a big group.
“We have the slight ‘advantage’ of being drawn in a group of six,” he added. “I think that England have been handed the most difficult draw.”
