Sections of the Real Madrid faithful voiced their displeasure at Jose Mourinho during last Sunday's game against Athletic Bilbao. Despite Madrid being five points clear of rivals Barcelona at the top of the Primera Liga standings, there has been much speculation that 'The Special One' will not still be in charge of the Blancos for the start of the 2012-13 season.

Although Mourinho won over some of his critics during Wednesday's Copa del Rey exit to Barcelona, as his side delivered a spirited comeback to draw 2-2 in the second leg at Camp Nou, the talk of him leaving at season's end refuses to go away.

So with that in mind, Sportingbet have priced up which club he will take charge of next.

Man Utd9/4 (2.75)

Although names such as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and David Moyes have been mooted to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson when he relinquishes control of the Manchester United dressing room, many believe Mourinho will be the one to replace the Scot.

The dynamics of the Premier League are continually changing and with emergence of Manchester City and to some extent Tottenham as genuine title contenders, there would certainly be a challenge in store for Mourinho were he to take the Old Trafford hot seat.

Man City –
3/1 (4.0)

The Abu Dhabi based owners of Manchester City have made no secret about their desire for trophies to justify their astronomical investment in the club and Jose Mourinho is no stranger to success. He is part of a select group of managers to win the Champions League with two different clubs and the Portuguese coach would certainly get the resources to improve City’s record in the competition were he to move to City. He is 3/1 (4.0) to take charge at the Etihad.

Chelsea  - 4/1 (5.0)

While the current head coach and Mourinho’s former right-hand man Andres Villas-Boas may be overseeing somewhat of a transitional period at Chelsea, there is no doubt that he is under pressure while doing so.

With the Blues out of the title race and talk of backroom unrest, Sportingbet go 4/1 (5.0) for The Special One to make a sensational return to Stamford Bridge and attempt to claim his third Premier League title after leaving Real.

PSG – 14/1 (15.0)

Paris Saint-Germain are another club with an influx of resources and owners who expect results in the short, rather than the medium to long terms for their investment. Carlo Ancelotti is currently attempting to shape the squad to his liking but if the Italian fails to have the desired impact then Mourinho’s impressive record across top European leagues would make him a viable candidate to guide the club.

Inter –
18/1 (19.0)

Another of the Special One's former clubs, Mourinho enjoyed a successful spell in charge of the Nerazzurri notching a Coppa Italia, back-to-back Scudetto titles and completing a historic treble by leading the side to European glory in 2010 before departing to manage Real.

But would it be a case of "never go back?" The 18/1 offered on his return would certainly suggest that a move back to Serie A would be less likely than a return to the Premier League, especially to the club which was paid a record compensation fee to release him in the first place.

Anzhi Makhachkala – 20/1 (21.0)

With a squad including Roberto Carlos, Yuri Zhirkov and Samuel Eto’o and a seemingly limitless cheque book to bring success to the club, Mourinho would be elevated further up the managerial rich list if he chose to take charge at Anzhi.  At 20/1 (21.0) it is a long shot, but as is evident more and more in modern football, money talks and was Mourinho to be offered an eight figure pay packet he would be sure to consider managing the Russian Premier League outfit and plying his trade in pastures new.

Barcelona – 40/1 (41.0)

After yet another failure to beat Barcelona in his current role on Wednesday, Mourinho is a lengthy 40/1 to take charge of the club he has encountered such problems against, but where he spent a few years as assistant coach alongside Bobby Robson and later Louis van Gaal.

With all the recent bad blood between the two sides it would take an extraordinary turn of events for the Portuguese to end up in charge of the Catalan giants in his next managerial post.

Place a bet on Jose's next job here!

While the current manager and Mourinho’s former protégé Andres Villas-Boas may be overseeing somewhat of a transitional period at Cheslea, there is no doubt that he is under pressure while doing so.

With the Blues out of the title race and talk of back room unrest,  Sportingbet go 4/1 (5.0) for The Special One to make a sensational return to Stamford Bridge and attempt to claim his third Premier League title after leaving Real.
