Video Poll Results: Arsenal's Carlos Vela Scored The Goal Of The Week (September 6-12)

As you know by now, every Monday we publish the top 10 goals of the week for your enjoyment. While we're happy to fish out what we believe are the best ten goals from world football for that week, we leave it up to you to decide which of the strikes you believe was the best of the best.
Club football was back in full swing last weekend after the international break, but there were still a few gems from the Euro 2012 qualifiers to admire. And that's where we start off, in fact, as Switzerland's wunderkind Xherdan Shaqiri was voted by Goal.com readers to have scored the third best goal of last week, tallying 379 votes.
Coming in at second was Paddy McCourt's wonderful solo effort for Celtic against Hearts which amassed 578 votes. But if ever there was a runaway winner, it would have to be Arsenal's Carlos Vela, who finished off a delightful array of passes from his team-mates in the thumping win over Bolton.
Sure it was a collective effort, but someone had to put the ball into the back of the net. And it was a resounding, collective win for the Gunner, who raked in a whopping 2,255 votes out of the 4,300 votes that were cast. Click here for the full results and breakdown of the poll.

How is possible that so many people voted for Celtic and arsenal's goal, did they at least bother to see the other videos ? Lima's goal was hands down the best one from all the videos, and don't even compare them with vela and mccourt's goal.

I am a huge Arsenal fan but vela should not win. It should be that Swiss kid that wins it with his amazing strike. Fabregas made an amazing pass but come on Arsenal fans vote for who really had the best goal. Gunner Forever!
