The legendary Rossoneri midfielder beats the opposition to scoop the latest weekly prize.

Another week of polling is over and you've chosen you're favourite goal of the week.

The vote was fairly empathic.

In third place, with just 240 of the total 4500 votes was Lyon wing-back Michel Bastos with a cracker of a howitzer against Hapoel Tel Aviv (watch here). Chelsea centre-half Alex scooped a more sizeable 1317 votes for his free-kick thumper against Arsenal (watch here).

Way out in front, though, with more than one in two of you voting for him, was our 2603 vote winner Andrea Pirlo. The AC Milan midfielder produced a world-class rocket from over 40-yards out that unstoppably pierced the apex between the bar and post.

The full list and run down of results can be seen in this article.

As usual, aside from rounding up who won last week we like to give you all a taster of next week's competition which will be published on Monday.

If you haven't already seen it yet, there is likely to be only one goal everyone will be voting for. Step forward Glentoran's Mattie Burrows and his ridiculously fantastical match-winning flying pirouette backheel goal in the 93rd minute.
