Eredivisie outfit Twente have received some bad news from the treatment table following their comfortable 4-0 KNVB Beker win against Sparta on Wednesday evening.

Experienced shot stopper Sander Boschker picked up a groin injury before the break and had to be substituted at half-time due to the knock. Third choice keeper Cees Paauwe came off the bench to replace Boschker.

It's not yet known how long the 39-year-old goalkeeper will be unavailable, but Boschker could well miss out on this weekend's home game against Roda, according to a report in De Telegraaf.

Head coach Steve McClaren won't be too happy with the news about Boschker's injury. The former England boss will also have to make do without back-up glovesman Nikolai Mihaylov due to injury.
