| Heerenveen 4-3 Roda |
| Heerenveen started the match superbly as topscorer Bas Dost found the net early on after some excellent work from Filip Djuricic. Nevertheless, Roda weren't too impressed as Sanharib Malki restored parity shortly after when he headed home from close range. Daryl Janmaat somewhat fortunately restored the hosts' lead after Rob Wielaert's attempted clearance bounced off his body past the Roda goalkeeper, before again Malki made it 2-2 at half-time with a brilliant back-heel. Davy De Beule then scored Roda's third of the evening with a tap-in after a cross from the left. Things were not meant to be for the away side though as Gerald Sibon netted the equaliser before Dost netted his 19th of the season to help Heerenveen to the full three points. |

Schenkeveld doubled the Kralingers' tally after the interval, before Darren Maatsen put the match to bed after a scramble in front of the VVV goal. VVV winger Yanic Wildschut pegged one back in the closing stages of the game, but it was too little, too late as Excelsior kept all points in Rotterdam. |

Alexander Buttner then saw his spot kick saved by NAC goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar, before Anthony Lurling was dismissed well into stoppage time after his second booking of the evening. |
