Former Internacional star Giuliano has reportedly agreed an 18-month loan deal with Gremio, while the club wait for their proposal to be accepted by Dnipro.

The 21-year-old midfielder has struggled to break into the Ukrainian side's starting line-up, and according to Globoesporte has already accepted an offer from Inter's Porto Alegre rivals to return to the city. Gremio have also sent an official proposal to the club which holds his contract and are hopeful of landing the youngster.

Tricolor directors hope to announce the transfer by Tuesday, but are currently waiting for the go-ahead from Dnipro in order to present Giuliano as the latest reinforcement for the 2012 season.

The attacking midfielder came to prominence in Inter's victorious 2010 Copa Libertadores campaign. He netted six goals in the competition, including a strike in both legs of their final triumph over Chivas, and was voted the player of the tournament.

This performance led Dnipro to complete a €10 million deal at the start of 2011, but he has appeared just 18 times for the club since moving to Europe.
