Unhappy Elano reveals he has received offers to leave Santos
Angry at being substituted during the Peixe's match on Thursday against Oeste, the 30-year-old maintains that he has plenty of options in Brazil should he choose to leave

The former Manchester City man was left on the bench for the Peixe's Club World Cup final defeat at the hands of Barcelona and is known to be less than happy with his treatment from the trainer. The situation reached a boiling point on Thursday night, when Elano reacted angrily to being substituted during Santos' 1-1 Paulistao draw with Oeste.
Speaking on Friday, the player revealed that he had received various offers to leave Vila Belmiro.
"I have several proposals, because of everything I have already achieved in my career over the years. But because of the respect and trust I hold for Santos, I will not talk with anyone without first talking to them," the former Brazil international fired in an interview with Globoesporte.
Gremio are believed to be one of the interested parties and are looking for another midfielder after releasing Douglas to Corinthians. Santos vice-president Odilio Rodrigues, however, denied that the club had received any approach for their player.
"We have no official proposals for Elano. If they have gone to him, they certainly haven't gone to us. We know nothing of this and I believe it would be difficult for anything to go through now," the director explained.
Elano returned to his first club in November 2010 after a spell in Turkey with Galatasaray and was an integral part of the team which lifted the Copa Libertadores for the first time since 1963.
