Aussies In Europe: Lucas Neill Makes Galatasaray Bow, Craig Moore Sees Red
There were mixed fortunes for the overseas Aussie contingent and Goal.com scours the continent to bring you the action.

Harry Kewell, Lucas Neill (Galatasaray, Turkey)
Neill made his Galatasaray debut in the 1-0 home win over Gaziantepspor after making the move from Everton last week, Kewell missing out with injury.
Tim Cahill (Everton, England)
Played a full game but didn’t have any chances of note fall his way as Everton were dumped out of the FA Cup at home by Birmingham.
Mark Schwarzer, (Fulham, England)
Made a few important saves as his side scored a 3-1 FA Cup win over minnows Accrington Stanley.
Brett Emerton, Vince Grella (Blackburn Rovers, England)
Grella again missed the action but there was a full game for Brett Emerton, who netted a late goal for his side in a dramatic Carling Cup Semi Final away against Aston Villa, which the Rovers lost 6-4.
Mark Bresciano (Palermo, Italy)
Wasn’t in the squad as Palermo scored a 3-0 home win over Fiorentina.
Luke Wilkshire (Dinamo Moscow, Russia)
End of Russian season.
Scott McDonald (Celtic, Scotland)
Missed Celtic’s 4-1 win over St Johnstone through injury.
Richard Garcia (Hull City, England)
Unable to make much of an impact during the 70 minutes in which he took part in his side’s 4-0 English Premier League defeat away against Manchester United.
Brett Holman, James Holland (AZ Alkmaar, Netherlands)
Neither were in the squad for the defeat on the road to Ajax.
Craig Moore (Kavala, Greece)
A miserable afternoon for Moore in the Greek Super League, shown a straight red card toward the end of his side’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Atromitos away from home.
David Carney (FC Twente, Netherlands)
Wasn’t in the squad for the scoreless draw at Groningen, out at the moment with a shoulder injury.
Nikita Rukavytsya (Roeselare, Belgium)
Moved on loan from Dutch club Twente and managed 80 minutes on his debut, a 2-1 home loss against KV Mechelen.
Dario Vidosic (Nurnberg, Germany)
Scored a double in his side’s 4-1 away win over KSC Lokeren.
Carl Valeri (Sassuolo, Italy)
Replaced at half time as his side beat visiting Vicenza 2-1.
Brad Jones, Rhys Williams (Middlesbrough, England)
Williams was sidelined with injury as ‘Borough could only managed a 1-1 draw with Swansea at the Riverside, while there was no side of ‘keeper Brad Jones who reportedly is seeking a loan move away after being targeted by the club’s boo-boys.
Nick Carle (Crystal Palace, England)
An unused substitute for the 2-2 away draw with Wolverhampton in the FA Cup and has reportedly turned down the chance of a loan move to China, though is still on the lookout for a club.
Adam Federici (Reading, England)
Kept a clean sheet in front of his own fans as Reading defeated Premier League outfit Burnley 1-0 to progress in the FA Cup.
Shane Lowry (Plymouth Argyle, England)
No league or cup action at the weekend.
