The former Adelaide United man had been linked with an A-League return however he has allegedly agreed to move to South Korea
By Ben Somerford
The Daily Telegraph has reported that the promising 23-year-old Australian attacker, who left AEK Athens by mutual consent late last week, will join Huh Jung-Moo's side.
At this stage, there has been no official announcement for the K-League outfit who finished the 2011 season in 13th.
Former Adelaide United man Burns had been linked with a return to the A-League with Newcastle Jets said to be leading the race.
However, according to the report former Korea coach Huh played a major role in taking Burns to East Asia given his record with developing young talent.
Burns had spent three-and-a-half years in Greece with AEK Athens along with a loan stint at Kerkyra where he enjoyed a breakout season.
The young attacker has made seven appearances for the Socceroos but has struggled for opportunities since the 2011 Asian Cup, with his club game-time drying up.
