Africans In France: Ligue 1 Round 14
Here is a quick rundown of how the African players fared this weekend in the French Ligue 1.

Delvin Ndinga (Congo -
Auxerre)
is one of new young sensations of the French champinship. Auxerre
currently occupies the top
spot in Ligue 1. Even without legendary coach Guy Roux,
the Burgundy club has kept its flair for digging young talented players.
Jean Fernandez found Delvin Ndinga from Congo. After scoring his first
goal of
the season on Saturday , the native
of Pointe-Noire continues to make a name for himself.
In the Auxerrois defense, Adama Coulibaly, aka "Police" (Mali) is still one of the best defenders in Ligue 1 and has proven himself once more.
Fahid Ben Khalfallah (Tunisia, Valenciennes) and Mamadou Samassa (Mali,Valenciennes) are becoming one of the classic duos of Ligue 1, practically a classic. Fahid Ben Khalfallah, on the right of the attack regularly delivers great balls to his forwards. And Saturday in Bordeaux, it was Mamadou Samassa who took advantage of his services to score his fifth goal of the season. The Tunisian will find some comfort after his country's unexpected elimination from the World Cup while Mamadou Samassa is becoming a new player at Valenciennes.
Now that he has been called back with the Eagles, Mamadou Bagayoko (Mali - Nice) has done well against Toulouse. In tireless fashion he keeps his opponents busy and even though he is not the most aesthetically thrilling player in the game, he does a great job for Loic Remy and creates a lot of opportunities for his partners.
With a less than average performance, Asamoah Gyan (Ghana - Rennes) has managed to score his seventh goal of the season and offer the victory to his side. A great way to celebrate his 24th birthday!
With Montpellier, Abdelhamid El-Kaoutari (Morocco - Montpellier) has been able to replace a player as major as Emir Spahic who was suspended. Without playing it too complicated, he made a clean match, contributing to the inviolability of Montpellier and impressed many.
