Zamalek and Al Wasl to raise money for those affected by Port Said tragedy - report
The Cairo-based club has tentatively accepted to face Al Wasl in a match that will benefit those adversely affected by the Port Said events

Zamalek have tentatively agreed to face Emirati side Al Wasl in a friendly match aimed at raising funds for the families of the 74 people killed and those injured during the tragic events at the Port Said stadium that occurred on Wednesday.
According to Al Arabiya, Zamalek vice president Raouf Jasser put the proposal to club president Mamdouh Abbas as well as coach Hassen Shehata, both of whom gave their agreement in principle while they await a final decision on what will become of the current Egyptian Premier League season that has been halted indefinitely.
Al Wasl had sought to face Zamalek previously but the Egyptian side turned down their offer due to a packed fixture schedule. A possible date for the proposed encounter has yet to be set but there is a desire is for the game to be played at the Cairo Olympic stadium if the security situation permits it.
