Arsenal playmaker Cesc Fabregas has revealed that he is uninterested in joining Barcelona or Juventus as it would mean relinquishing the captain's armband at the Gunners.

Rumours continue to link the Spain international with possible moves to hometown club Barcelona or Juventus.

But the creative midfielder, who has contributed 17 goals and 19 assists in all competitions this season, would seem to remain fiercely loyal to Arsene Wenger and Arsenal.

"I am very united with the club and the supporters," Fabregas explained, according to The Daily Mail.

"My role as captain has increased my commitment to Arsenal and I am happy there.

"I have been at Arsenal for many years but I don't see myself as the only leader. We are together as a team and I rely on my team-mates to help me be successful. I am no more important than my team-mates."
