'Isn't Maxwell a coffee?' - Montpellier's Louis Nicollin mocks Paris Saint-Germain's new signing

Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has mocked Paris Saint-Germain for the signings they have made since the Qatar Investment Authority's takeover in the French capital.

The Parisians have splashed out on established names such as Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore and Barcelona defender Maxwell.

The two sides are separated by a solitary point at the top of Ligue 1, but Nicollin is unconcerned by his club's adversaries' stellar roster.

"Pastore? I don't know if he'll play. We'll see. After him there's Nene - he's very strong there. For the rest, there are no problems. Maxwell, isn't that a coffee? Alex? No, he's not a problem," the executive told Canal+.

Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier meet on Sunday February 19 at 21.00CET at Parc des Princes.
