Overview: A member of the Canadian national team since 2003, Atiba Hutchinson's career has blossomed over the past two years to the point where he is now arguably the most integral member of Canada's Gold Cup side.

Signed as a 19-year-old by Östers IF of the Swedish first division, Hutchinson has developed a reputation as an extremely versatile and hardworking player with a smooth, skillful style of play. His form in Sweden led to a transfer to Danish giants FC Copenhagen and after an excellent four-year run there, he transferred to Dutch power PSV prior to the 2010-11 season.

His natural position is in central midfield, but Hutchinson filled in admirably at both center back and outside back for PSV during an injury crisis in the first half of the Eredivisie campaign.

Career defining moment: Was named 2010 Danish SuperLiga Player of the Year for his performances with FC Copenhagen.

Strengths: Very skillful, good passer, versitile, strong on the ball, uses his 6-foot, 1-inch frame well.

Weakness: Heading and finishing.
